What is MUTT?

MUTT is a freely redistributable cross-genre roleplay system.  It mixes some of the best ideas from TORG and The Hero System and adds a few that are unique.

What is a "roleplay system?"

A roleplay system is a set of rules for playing a kind of game called a 'roleplay game.'  Roleplay games are highly imaginative positive-sum games where players and a game-master cooperate to create a story about the players' characters.  MMORPGs like World of Warcraft are an attmept to bring such games to computers and game machiens.  Unliek such computer games however, pen and paper roleplay games are limited only by the imaginations of the players.

How is MUTT licensed?

What can I do with MUTT?

You can download MUTT for free.  You can print as many copies as you like.  You can give the MUTT file or copies away to your friends.  You can play MUTT!

What can't I do with MUTT?

You cannot sell any part of MUTT.  Thats the "non-commercial" part of the license.  If you want to make MUTT part of something you give away, you must make your additions available to other under a similar license.

If you would like to make a MUTT based product commercially, however, contact us and we can probably arrange something.

Yes, you can.  For the moment, you can use this link.  When it isfinished they will probably move to proper RPG host.
